Can you believe a Penny Farthing can go so fast?
Just about everyone has heard of the Penny Farthing, it is probably the most iconic bicycle of all time.
If you don’t know the Penny Farthing, it’s a bike ridden in the late 1800s with a huge front wheel and a very small rear wheel.
The name “Penny Farthing” comes from the 2 British coins, the Penny, and the Farthing which was a quarter of a penny. If you place the 2 together they look very much like the bike of the same name.
